Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Directional Drill Operator to join our team in the SoutheasternandMid-Atlantic. The ideal candidate will have experience operating directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities efficiently and safely. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate directional drilling equipment for underground utility installation
• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and utility markings
• Ensure bore path accuracy and proper depth placement
• Maintain and perform routine inspections on drilling equipment
• Work closely with crew members to ensure safe and efficient job completion
• Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
• Troubleshoot drilling issues and make necessary adjustments

Qualifications:

• Experience operating directional drilling equipment in a utility construction setting
• Knowledge of underground utility installation techniques and safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and utility locates
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed
• CDL license (preferred)
• OSHA certification (preferred)
