The Account Director (AD) serves as the principle executive contact with HealthTrust members. In this role, the AD is responsible for working with members to drive value and savings to enhance their performance, as well as expanding HealthTrust’s footprint with the member and driving growth. The AD establishes and maintains professional business relationships, expedites the utilization of HealthTrust contracts and offerings by the members. The AD serves as a trusted advisor to the member(s) s/he supports, engaging member executives regularly for the purpose of helping them achieve savings, improving performance, promoting standardization, and eliminating waste in the Supply Chain function and other key areas of their enterprise. The AD has leadership responsibility to develop and maintain a robust account plan, and executing against that plan to identify opportunities for his/her accounts to improve operational and financial performance. The AD effectively utilizes various data and analytics tools and reports to analyze and present key opportunities to the member(s) s/he supports, as well as summarizing and presenting savings results and other key information to the member(s). The AD works to coordinate HealthTrust resources to ensure that HealthTrust members are supported as effectively as possible, experiencing superior service that results in member loyalty and retention, as well as advocacy and promotion of HealthTrust to prospective members. This high profile and professional position may be home-based or office-based, depending on location of account assignments.
Portfolio of assigned strategic accounts includes Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Long Term Care facilities, and/or Behavioral Health facilities. The ability to travel extensively up to 75%, including overnight travel, is required for the role.
