  • Experience architecting enterprise platforms and shared services that support multiple business capabilities and lines of business.

  • Experience designing cloud-native, reuseable modular solutions utilizing APIs, event-driven architectures, and public cloud platforms.

  • Extensive experience designing enterprise document management, document processing, workflow, or content-centric solutions.

  • Strong understanding of document intake, workflow orchestration, classification, metadata management, business process automation, and document-centric transaction processing.

  • Experience with enterprise content management, document processing, and digital signature platforms such as Nuxeo, Alfresco, FileNet, Documentum, SharePoint, DocuSign, or similar technologies.

  • Knowledge of records management, retention, privacy, and regulatory requirements such as SEC 17a-4, FINRA, HIPAA, and related compliance standards.

  • Experience evaluating emerging technologies, including AI-enabled document processing, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted software development and architecture tools.

The Skills You Bring

  • Define and communicate the architectural vision, strategy, roadmaps, and target-state architectures for Enterprise Document Management capabilities.

  • Drive architecture adoption through engineering standards, design patterns, reference architectures, and governance practices that enable scalable and consistent solution delivery.

  • Lead platform strategy and modernization efforts, including technology evaluations, capability roadmaps, consolidation opportunities, and build-versus-buy decisions.

  • Architect scalable, resilient, and reusable solutions that support document management, document processing, and related business capabilities across the enterprise.

  • Lead, proofs of concept, and technology assessments to validate solution approaches and evaluate emerging technologies, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.

  • Partner with business, product, engineering, and architecture leaders to align technology investments, solution designs, and delivery priorities with strategic business objectives.

  • Communicate complex architectural concepts, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations in clear business terms to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Coach and mentor architects and engineering teams while fostering a culture of architectural excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
