We are seeking a Director, Azure Technical Marketing & Lead Demo Marketer to lead development of our Azure demo platform and to build a Demo Center of Excellence (COE) across Azure. This role that operates Azure-wide-partnering closely with leaders across Developer Tools, AI, Data, Azure Infrastructure, and Security teams, while collaborating with marketing partners across Microsoft (including M365 Copilot and others) to bring an integrated product story to life. This demo narrative will surface across flagship first party (1P) events, customer conversations, product launches, analyst engagements, and digital/social outbound communications. This role is also tightly aligned to the Microsoft Executive Briefing Center (EBC)-supporting customer briefings and helping maintain a world-class, on-site demo environment that showcases Azure end-to-end with credibility, reliability, and relevance.
This leadership role will build a technical-led culture across Azure where our teams embrace the depth of the portfolio and integrate the unique product strengths of Microsoft into real-world customer use cases and workflows. You will play a key role engaging with product, field and marketing executives to drive a demo strategy and technical marketing strategy that continues to differentiate Microsoft in competitive define scenarios. And with an eye for competitive differentiation, you will identify and communicate the key value in Azure that is showcased in inspiring, scenario-led demos to decision makers in our customers.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Azure Product Marketing, you will operate as the connective tissue across product teams and marketing surfaces-driving alignment, quality, and reuse. Success will be measured by adoption of the demo platform and COE assets, impact in major launch moments and executive engagements, and the ability to consistently translate Azure's technical capabilities into clear, credible customer narratives and demonstrations.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Additional or preferred qualifications
Masters Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience building and communicating technical value through product demo/demo environments in cloud, developer or AI platforms
OR Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience building and communicating technical value through product demo/demo environments in cloud, developer or AI platforms
OR equivalent experience.
Experience translating complex technical capabilities into clear, credible customer stories, demos, and executive-ready talk tracks
Experience driving outcomes across highly matrixed organizations through influence and stakeholder management
Experience across modern cloud architectures; ability to engage with engineering and product teams to validate scenarios and claims
Experience building or running a demo program, demo platform, or technical showcase/COE used across launches, events, and executive engagements
Experience across Azure pillars (e.g., AI, data, developer tools, infrastructure, security) and the ability to connect them into end-to-end scenarios
Experience supporting flagship events, keynote preparation, customer briefings, and/or analyst engagements with technical storytelling
Experience partnering with an Executive Briefing Center or running high-stakes technical briefings and demo environments
Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
