Position Summary – This position contributes to the Company's success by providing leadership, guidance and energy to actively identify, cultivate and solicit potential business prospects and to maintain current client business. The incumbent oversees proposal preparation and presentations of the Company’s capabilities, programs and services that are produced in a cost-effective manner, employing economy while maintaining an acceptable level of quality. Supervise project selection and evaluation activities, assist with expert consultation activities and establish the Company’s Business Development process.
The Director of Business Development drives revenue growth and strategic partnerships by identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities, while also expanding relationships with existing clients. This role leads the development and execution of business development strategies that align with MedPharm’s overall vision, particularly within pharmaceutical drug development and commercial manufacturing. The Director delivers presentations, and client engagement strategies, ensuring a high-quality and cost-effective approach to grow the business. This position operates with a high level of independence and cross-functional collaboration, playing a key role in shaping the MedPharm’s business development process and market positioning.
