**Job Description** BAE Systems is a leading global defense, security, and aerospace company. Our Ordnance Systems business is hiring an experienced Director Capital Program Controls to join our team. As a Director, you will play an integral role in ensuring the successful modernization of our nation s Munitions Industrial Base. You will be leading a team of construction schedulers and cost controllers to directly plan and support Integrated Project Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling program costs, schedules, and performance to deliver modernized capabilities in a timely and efficient manner. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Key Responsibilities: + Build and lead a Program Controls team, including developing and improving processes, systems, standards, frameworks, reports, and performance metrics + Guide the team in the preparation of programmatic baselines + Perform monthly/weekly cost and schedule analyses, such as variance analysis to identify and mitigate cost and scheduling risks + Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting metrics to support Product Line Leader decision making + Manage Earned Value Management System (EVMS); provide guidance and development of new tools to drive performance efficiency + Monitor, control, and communicate performance status and prepare reports and presentation + Guide the team to conduct detailed schedule risk assessments, identifying and mitigating program scheduling risks + Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate scope execution and adherence to strict budgets in a fast-paced environment + Provide insightful recommendations to program management to drive data-based decision making; become a full scale business partner + Drive innovation and change, introduce industry best practices, high-efficiency systems, and mature functional capabilities + Create a culture where everyone is valued, engaged, and invested in our success + Develop, coach, mentor, and train team to drive performance, productivity, and growth **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience + Experience in Program Controls, Program Finance, or Program Management + Proven track record of successfully managing capital program controls for large-scale business + Proficiency in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insightful recommendations + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams + Demonstrated Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and train team to reach excellence in cost and schedule control methodologies **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Masters Degree + Professional Certification + Experience in managing full EVMS programs + Experience in Construction, Chemical, or Oil & Gas industries + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
