About the Job

Director, of Case Management will report into the Senior Director of Patient Support Services (Rare Hem and Oncology) and is a member of the RBD/Oncology PSS extended leadership team. This Director is responsible for the overall strategic design, operations, and performance of the Rare Hematology and Oncology case management teams. This leader will partner closely with brand, internal hub, and field lead stakeholders to ensure the case management experience is strategically aligned and performing to the needs of the patient and customer experience per the remit of PSS across Rare Hematology and Oncology. The Director will be an active participant on the leadership team across multiple franchises to implement and enhance the patient services and education experience based on strategy and insights.

The program provides support with product education, access to therapy and adherence. The Director will promote the continuous growth and development of their case management teams across both Oncology and Rare Hematology. Main Responsibilities

• Develops and drives execution of strategy for the Case Management teams across multiple therapeutic areas, products, and patient support models to facilitate access to treatment, adherence, and patient satisfaction
• Develops key performance metrics related to team priorities and patient-centered outcomes to ensure programs are meeting operational targets
• Collaborates closely with the field access and field education leaders to ensure a seamless and supportive experience across the disease state and product treatment continuum
• Identifies and leads future enhancements through collaboration with appropriate stakeholders and monitors the patient support landscape to identify needs for new programs or enhancements to current programs; lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes related to performance and patient outcomes
• Recruits, hires, coaches and develops Case Managers to support the HCP and patient experience
• Contributes to development of comprehensive data strategy, in collaboration with Analytics and Business Operations
• Represents during business reviews to ensure optimal communication and pull-through of aligned collaborative strategies
• Shares insights regarding patient access strategy, performance, access barriers and trends to improve access and adherence
• Partners with Marketing to develop educational programs and materials to ensure patients and providers are aware of available patient support resources
• Fosters relationships across therapeutic areas with appropriate internal partners to leverage best practices, resources, and strategies
• Collaborates with Field teams to ensure optimal communication and awareness of available patient support services
• Partners with Training and platform team to oversee development and execution of Learning and Commercial Effectiveness for the Case Management department
• Responsible for development, maintenance of yearly and forecasted budget plan. Makes associated department structure decisions to ensure appropriate case management staffing to support patient needs.
• Handles sensitive patient and business information with discretion and care, ensuring appropriate confidentiality, data privacy, and security practices are maintained across all Case Management activities
• Ensures that all activities are in full compliance with corporate and industry policies and legal and regulatory requirements, including development of SOPs and Work Instructions
• Implements programs, tools, and assessments to aid in continued development of team and direct reports
• Supports the development of leaders and individuals on team, coaches for program success, continued enhancements of the patient experience, and optimal and efficient use of talents and skills

About You

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/specialty pharmacy industry
• 5+ years previous leadership experience
• Outstanding interpersonal skills including building strong working relationships, and managing and resolving conflicts
• Strong analytic skills to evaluate trends and identify opportunities for program improvements. Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and accountability
• Superb communication skills; oral and written, including presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to change and react constructively in a high-energy and fast paced environment
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive patient health information with appropriate care and in compliance with privacy requirements
• Ability to travel up to 20% of time

The salary range for this position is:

$178,500.00 - $257,833.33

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs, and additional benefits information can be found here.
