    Opportunity Overview

    \n

    This is an opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular leader to oversee Cath Lab and EP services within a 50-bed hospital in Montana. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering closely with the Cath Lab Medical Director, the Director will provide operational and clinical leadership for two labs and a team of approximately 12 FTEs. The ideal candidate will combine strong cardiovascular expertise with the leadership skills needed to support high-quality patient care, effective resource management, regulatory compliance, and continued service-line development.

    Key Responsibilities

    \n
    • \n
    • Lead the day-to-day clinical and operational activities of the Cath Lab and EP departments.
    • \n
    • Establish and maintain high standards for patient care, safety, quality, and service.
    • \n
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a team of approximately 12 FTEs.
    • \n
    • Participate directly in procedures and clinical operations as needed.
    • \n
    • Manage department resources, staffing, scheduling, equipment, and operational priorities.
    • \n
    • Oversee fiscal performance, resource utilization, and departmental budgets.
    • \n
    • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.
    • \n
    • Lead quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based cardiovascular practices.
    • \n
    • Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and other operational leaders to support the broader Cardiovascular Service Line.
    • \n
    • Maintain appropriate quality control, equipment maintenance, and clinical laboratory practices.
    • \n
    • Participate in organizational projects and initiatives related to cardiovascular services.
    • \n
    • Foster a collaborative culture focused on patient-centered care, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience

    \n
    • \n
    • Current Montana RN license or applicable cardiovascular clinical credential, depending on professional background.
    • \n
    • RCIS or RCES certification required.
    • \n
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
    • \n
    • Minimum of 10 years of continuous clinical experience in a Cath Lab or EP environment.
    • \n
    • Strong experience across the full range of cardiovascular laboratory operations and technology.
    • \n
    • At least 2 years of recent management or supervisory experience preferred.
    • \n
    • BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred for RN candidates.
    • \n
    • AAS or formal education in a cardiovascular program preferred for cardiovascular technologists; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
    • \n
    • Demonstrated ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiovascular and clinical equipment.
    • \n
    • Strong understanding of cardiovascular laboratory standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation expectations.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Approximately $140,000 salary midpoint
