Position Summary:

You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the ambulatory surgery center, manage multiple clinical departments, and provide leadership, coaching, and development to supervisors and teammates. You will be responsible for ensuring clinical services operate effectively within established budget parameters while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and outstanding patient service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional organizational, administrative, and communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering excellent experience for both patients and teammates.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:

  • Administrator Medical Equipment Performance Maintenance program to ensure all clinical equipment’s are maintained and calibrated according to manufacturers’ recommendations
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure appropriate IC (Infection Control/Prevention) compliance and appropriate Sterilization program, including all autoclaves and high-level disinfection procedures
  • Manage all aspects of clinical quality improvement program, including Environment of Care (Medical Emergency, Emergency Evacuation Procedures., Hazard Vulnerability Analysis, etc.), Life Safety Code, and Regulated Medical Waste Disposal activities to meet industrial and regulatory standards
  • Offered regular staff meeting and training for ASC teammates to enhance communication
  • Lead regulatory review readiness for both announced and unannounced surveys. Organize on-going training and process improvement initiatives for staff
  • Handle all patient questions, concerns, and complaints from patients and/or their loved ones in a respectful and professional manner
  • Supervise the patient experience from admission to discharge, ensuring a seamless and customer service focused exchange
  • Maintain precise and detailed patient records and HIPAA compliance according to all MCO (Managed Care Organization), federal, state, and local standards and regulations
  • Assess and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of current systems/workflow
  • Evaluate performance of teammates within the ASC, providing regular constructive feedback and tools for continuous improvement and career development
  • Maintain a cost-conscious, effective budget as provided and directed by Sight Growth Partners executive team
  • Handle staff scheduling, OR schedules, cases booking processes, Cost analysis, pre-authorization process, to ensure maximum room availability for providers.
  • Administrate technicians’ testing process to ensure coding and program compliance 
  • Manage teammates’ attendance, overtime, and time off requests
  • Monitor work environment to constantly gauge for a healthy and positive culture; coach and improve as needed
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of medical office or healthcare management experience required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) leadership or management experience strongly preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Work a flexible schedule based on the operational needs and surgical schedule of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
  • Maintain availability for occasional early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as needed to support patient care and ASC operations.

 

Salary Range:

  • $185,000 - $220,000 commensurate with experience
