We design and operate high-performance AI infrastructure that enables organisations to build and deploy AI faster, more efficiently, and more responsibly.

As we expand our US footprint, we are looking for a US Community Engagement Lead to build trusted relationships with the communities where we develop and operate our data centres, while supporting Nscale''s broader Global Affairs and ESG priorities.

About the Role

As the US Community Engagement Lead, you will develop and deliver community engagement strategies across our US projects, ensuring local perspectives are considered throughout the project lifecycle and helping build long-term support for Nscale''s developments.

Working closely with Development, Sustainability, Legal, Communications and Global Affairs teams, you will also manage the Global Affairs ESG portfolio, coordinating key initiatives, supporting ESG reporting, and helping drive programmes that deliver positive social and environmental impact.

What You''ll Be Doing

  • Lead community engagement across Nscale''s US data centre developments.
  • Build relationships with local communities, elected officials, education partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Support project teams in managing stakeholder engagement and community commitments throughout planning, construction and operations.
  • Manage the Global Affairs ESG portfolio, coordinating initiatives, tracking progress and supporting reporting across the business.
  • Identify opportunities for community investment, workforce development and strategic partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure community and ESG priorities are embedded into project delivery.

About You

  • 8+ years'' experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, ESG or social impact within infrastructure, energy, utilities, data centres or major capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of US planning, permitting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience managing ESG or sustainability programmes is desirable.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the United States.

The range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs. Nscale may offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.

Salary Range

$150,000-$260,000 USD
