Responsibilities:

As a key member of Keysight’s Corporate Development team, you will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development and support Keysight’s inorganic growth objectives through mergers and acquisitions, strategic equity investments and venture capital fund commitments. In this role, you will help evaluate opportunities that strengthen Keysight’s position in core and adjacent markets and contribute to the execution of strategic transactions that create long-term value.   

The candidate’s primary responsibilities and opportunities to contribute to Keysight include:

 

  • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and returns analysis of acquisitions, strategic investments and venture capital fund commitments
  • Evaluate the sources of synergies across the P&L, balance sheet and financing levels to help the organization realize value
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across the transaction lifecycle, from due diligence to integration planning and handoff
  • Partner with business and corporate functions to assess inorganic growth opportunities aligned with Keysight’s strategic priorities
  • Cultivate relationships with external parties including investment banks, private equity firms and target companies to advance corporate development opportunities
  • Support corporate development activities and promote best practices across the organization
  • Collaborate closely with Industry Solutions Team and Centers of Excellence leaders to develop and advance growth initiatives in core and adjacent markets
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity and industry trends relevant to Keysight’s businesses
  • Communicate complex financial and strategic concepts effectively to a range of audiences
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations for the CEO, CFO, VP of Corporate Development and Senior Leadership Team    
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the corporate development function
  • Serve as a trusted contributor and objective advisor on strategic growth opportunities across the businesses   
Qualifications:
  • MBA or significant experience in finance with exceptional analytical skills
  • At least 10-12 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity or transaction experience   
  • Experience in financial analysis, modeling or controller-related work is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of Keysight’s core and adjacent markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external parties
  • Intellectual curiosity, commercial judgment and a growth mindset
  • Ability to “see around corners” and anticipate the needs of the business in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to challenge conventional thinking and confidence to voice opinions

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

 

 

California Pay Range MIN $167,810.00 MIDPOINT $223,740.00 MAX $279,680.00
