We're seeking a Director, Culture & Teammate Experience Programs to set the strategy and direction for a portfolio of enterprise programs. This leader will translate organizational priorities and teammate feedback into scalable solutions, connect work across functions, and guide a team responsible for bringing programs from concept through implementation and continuous improvement.

About This Opportunity

The Director, Culture & Teammate Experience Programs leads the portfolio direction, governance, integration, and activation of enterprise culture and teammate experience programs. This role establishes priorities, defines expectations, and ensures initiatives are connected across the teammate lifecycle and aligned with enterprise goals.

Working closely with HR Centers of Excellence, Operations, Nursing, Learning & Development, Benefits, listening and insights teams, and senior leaders, the Director will convert strategy into actionable roadmaps, strengthen enterprise and local alignment, and enable leaders with the tools and resources needed to drive adoption. The role also provides direction, coaching, and support to program managers and team members while serving as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner to leadership.

What You'll Do

• Set the strategic direction and priorities for a portfolio of enterprise programs spanning culture, engagement, recognition, and well-being.
• Translate enterprise strategy and teammate feedback into scalable programs that drive measurable impact across the teammate lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain governance structures, standards, and operating rhythms that connect enterprise and local efforts and prevent programs from operating in silos.
• Partner across HR Centers of Excellence, Operations, Nursing, Learning & Development, Benefits, and business leadership to align priorities, workflows, resources, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with listening and insights teams to translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into program design, activation plans, and actionable recommendations.
• Develop program roadmaps with clear timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success measures, adjusting plans as priorities and business needs evolve.
• Drive activation by embedding culture and engagement programs into business practices and leader routines, with particular focus on site-level and frontline adoption.
• Equip leaders with practical tools, resources, communication strategies, and implementation guidance that reinforce program success.
• Use enterprise insights, program data, benchmarking, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities and risks, and continuously improve the portfolio.
• Communicate progress, impact, and recommendations to senior leaders through clear, executive-ready updates and decision materials.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to program managers and team members while facilitating alignment across the broader Culture & Teammate Experience team.
• Operate with an enterprise-wide mindset, bringing forward informed solutions and recommendations while independently advancing priorities through ambiguity and change.

What You'll Bring

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Five or more years of related experience, including people management, strategic planning, project management, data analysis and insights, leadership and change management, and enterprise-wide program management.
• In-depth knowledge of organizational development principles, employee engagement strategies, culture, well-being, and HR best practices.
• Strong strategic planning and program or project management capabilities, with experience moving initiatives from concept and design through implementation and optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to establish governance, connect work across functions, and create scalable processes in a large, complex organization.
• Strong change leadership skills, including the ability to gain buy-in, address resistance, and keep teams and stakeholders aligned through uncertainty.
• Experience using data, teammate feedback, and program measures to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and guide decisions.
• Excellent consultation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across levels and functions without relying on direct authority.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations clearly and persuasively to senior leaders.
• Proven people leadership experience, including setting direction, coaching talent, building accountability, and supporting teams through change.
• Strong judgment, initiative, adaptability, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple enterprise priorities simultaneously.

Preferred

• Seven to ten years of related experience in culture, employee or teammate experience, engagement, well-being, organizational effectiveness, consulting, or enterprise program leadership.
• Human Resources or consulting experience within a large, matrixed organization.
• Experience leading a portfolio of programs at different stages of maturity and determining where to invest, streamline, scale, or sunset work.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), change management professional certification, SHRM certification, or HRCI certification.
• Experience in healthcare or another operationally complex environment with geographically distributed teams and frontline populations.
