Data is our business, and protecting it is paramount. As the Data Privacy Lead, you will provide critical subject matter expertise on privacy and data protection to evaluate and shape new business initiatives, processes, and applications across the enterprise. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with diverse teams across business units to operationalize our privacy program and drive business growth. As a versatile contributor, you will manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while actively maturing our program.

    What you'll do

    • Work closely with enterprise and business unit stakeholders to embed privacy in strategic initiatives during the design and execution phases.

    • Support the implementation, monitoring, and testing of our global privacy controls framework.

    • Assist in developing and maintaining policies, standards, and procedures that support global privacy program objectives and emerging benchmarks.

    • Conduct rigorous privacy impact (PIAs) and control assessments on applications, products, and processes to evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards.

    • Monitor and track privacy and data protection regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) to continually update and improve our program.

    • Enable the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning through automated governance processes.

    • Contribute to, support, and deliver privacy-specific training and awareness materials across the organization.

    • Research and respond to complex privacy-related inquiries from business units, customers, or regulatory agencies.

    • Manage data privacy program metrics, KPIs, and reporting, including delivering comprehensive readouts and updates to Senior Leadership.

    What experience you need

    • Minimum of three (3) years of direct data privacy, data protection, or privacy engineering experience, with more than five (5) years of professional work experience, with a strong preference for experience within the financial services or FinTech industries.

    • In-depth understanding of privacy policies, principles, and privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), alongside strong familiarity with privacy control frameworks.

    • Documented experience interpreting privacy regulations and conducting privacy impact assessments across diverse cloud environments.

    • Proven project management and coordination skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines, prioritizing assignments, and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.

    • Demonstrated leadership and partnering skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to inform, influence, and build relationships with both technical and non-technical partners.

    What could set you apart

    • Hands-on experience working with industry-standard Consent Management Platforms (CMPs).

    • Direct experience reviewing Data Protection Agreements (DPAs), Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and privacy-specific clauses in commercial contracts.

    • Professional privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT.

    • Practical knowledge of privacy risk management concerning artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), and automated decision-making systems.

We offer comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, 401k matching, paid time off, and organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks.
