Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Director or Senior Manager, Dealer Sales (we are open to hiring at either level depending on experience) who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity.
We are seeking someone to drive growth, profitability, and dealer engagement across our dealer network. This highly visible, dealer-facing role combines strategic business development with hands-on relationship management to support dealer acquisition, onboarding, performance optimization, and long-term partnership success.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and business strategist who thrives in both virtual and in-person environments, excels at building trusted relationships, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional dealer experience while driving measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Recruitment & Relationship Management
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealer partners aligned with company growth objectives
  • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with prospective and existing dealers to strengthen partnerships and drive production
  • Lead dealer term negotiations and support contract execution processes
  • Build and maintain strong dealer relationships through proactive communication, strategic consultation, and ongoing support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to dealers by identifying opportunities for growth, process improvement, and market expansion
Dealer Business Development & Performance Management
  • Develop and execute dealer business development strategies to increase profitability, production, and market penetration
  • Partner with dealers to implement effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies and sales initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze dealer account performance metrics including IRR, credit average, 60-month term mix, ACH penetration, attrition, and overall profitability
  • Manage dealer budgets and performance goals while identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Address and resolve channel conflict issues while maintaining strong partner alignment and collaboration
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales, credit, operations, and marketing teams to support dealer success
Dealer Experience & Engagement
  • Lead initiatives designed to enhance the overall dealer customer experience and strengthen dealer loyalty
  • Develop and execute dealer incentive programs, contests, promotions, and events to drive engagement and production growth
  • Coordinate sales training and onboarding programs to accelerate dealer ramp-up and improve long-term performance
  • Gather dealer feedback and market insights to continuously improve processes, programs, and partner satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in dealer development, account management, sales, business development in the Smart Home or Residential Security Industry
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and drive results
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting performance metrics and profitability indicators
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Comfortable traveling for in-person dealer meetings, events, and business development activities, as needed
