Responsibilities
The Director of Development Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across core development services functions, including donor research and pipeline management, donor database administration and gift processing, stewardship operations, and volunteer group support. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of all fundraising data and systems while overseeing the infrastructure that enables effective donor identification, engagement, and retention. This position partners closely with fundraising leadership and key administrative stakeholders to align operational strategy with organizational revenue goals. The Director drives process optimization, reporting and analytics, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen pipeline visibility, enhance the donor experience, and support the successful execution of fundraising and volunteer engagement initiatives and events.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field required
Experience
5 years of experience in development operations, advancement services, fundraising infrastructure, or related field required
Experience managing teams and overseeing multiple operational functions required
Proven track record of overseeing financial operations related to charitable giving, included restricted funds, budgeting, and donor intent compliance required
