The Director of Diagnostic Imaging has multi-faceted duties, including organizing and directing the overall operation of the Imaging Services Department. You will participate in monitoring and delivering high quality, patient centered care. We are looking for someone who has a passion to lead, coach and mentor our highly skilled Imaging team. We consider our team “family” as we work hard to support each other. In this role:
You will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Imaging Services Department.
You will maintain performance improvement activities, assure competency of all personnel within the department, and participate in CQI activities.
You will assist in formulating the budget.
You will assume responsibility for safe and proper operation and quality control of all standard and special radiology apparatus and equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all Joint Commission, state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
What qualifications you will need:
Management experience preferred.
