Position Overview:

Cumulus Media | (Atlanta) has an immediate, fully remote (US-based) opening for a full-time Director, Digital Ad Operations. This Director is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous evolution of digital advertising operations across podcasts, streaming audio, websites, and emerging digital products for the Cumulus Podcast Network; and oversees account management and ad operations team members, establishes operational standards, drives technology innovation, and ensures scalable processes that support revenue growth and exceptional client outcomes. This position reports to the Vice President, Digital Ad Operations.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Digital Ad Operations for the Cumulus Podcast Network. Lead, mentor, and develop managers and senior team members across the organization.
• Establish department goals, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee campaign planning, trafficking, optimization, measurement, and fulfillment processes.
• Drive process automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with Sales & other Digital Leadership to support digital revenue growth.
• Own strategic relationships with ad technology, streaming, podcast, and measurement platform partners.
• Lead platform migrations, integrations, and major ad tech initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Content, Revenue Operations, and Sales teams.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for critical operational and client challenges.
• Provide executive-level reporting and strategic recommendations. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Digital Ad Operations or related digital media functions.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and developing leaders.
• Deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, ad serving technologies, streaming audio, podcast monetization, web publishing, and mobile applications.
• Experience with Adswizz, Triton Digital, Megaphone, Magellan and related platforms.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and change management skills. 

Pay Range: USD $76,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr. What We Offer:
