Director of Ecommerce Growth - Hybrid in Concord, MA

Our client is a design-led direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand in the gifting and consumer products space. As the business continues to scale, they are hiring a Director of Ecommerce Growth to own and improve the performance of their website, the company’s largest and most important revenue channel.

This is a highly impactful, hands-on role focused on driving conversion, improving site performance, and maximizing the efficiency of marketing spend. You will play a key role in scaling the ecommerce business and building a more efficient growth engine.

This person will focus on optimizing and improving the existing site experience, using data, testing, and experimentation to drive measurable revenue impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Performance & Conversion

  • Own conversion rate (CVR), site performance, and revenue growth from the ecommerce channel

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve funnel performance, reduce drop-off, and increase AOV

  • Continuously optimize site speed, UX, and overall customer experience

Testing & Optimization

  • Build and execute a structured A/B testing roadmap across landing pages, PDPs, checkout, and overall site experience

  • Focus on high-impact improvements vs incremental “piecemeal” changes

  • Use data to validate hypotheses and guide decision-making

Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze performance across the full funnel (traffic? behavior? conversion)

  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for a non-technical, design-led team

  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure insights inform broader business decisions

Agency Management & Paid Media Alignment

  • Own relationship with paid media agency (currently focused on Meta)

  • Evaluate performance and ensure marketing spend is being used efficiently

  • Provide input on channel expansion and overall growth strategy

Website Redesign Collaboration (Near-Term)

  • Contribute to an upcoming website rebuild

  • Ensure the new site is built with performance, speed, and conversion in mind

  • Collaborate with internal team and external partners (not responsible for managing design execution)

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Improved conversion rate and reduced bounce rate

  • Faster, more efficient website experience

  • Clear, data-driven understanding of performance

  • More effective use of paid media spend

  • A scalable foundation for continued ecommerce growth

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6–10+ years of experience in ecommerce growth, CRO, or digital performance roles

  • Strong DTC ecommerce experience (physical product preferred)

  • Proven track record improving conversion and driving revenue through site optimization

  • Hands-on experience with testing, analytics, and performance optimization

  • Experience with tools such as Shopify, Google Analytics, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to work across large data sets

  • Experience working alongside paid media teams/agencies and understanding how site performance impacts acquisition

HOW YOU WORK

  • Highly collaborative, low ego

  • Curious and proactive, identifies problems and solves them

  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, low-structure environment

  • Strong communicator who can translate complex data into simple, actionable insights

  • Willing to take risks, test ideas, and iterate quickly
