    This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.Imagine spearheading the next phase of digital expansion by empowering reseller partners to create and maintain their own Sales and Marketing portals using Spectrum's Syndicated APIs. As the Director, Syndicated API Platforms, you will lead API enablement, ensuring successful onboarding, operational support, and long‑term partner achievement. Your leadership will drive Spectrum's digital platform strategy while extending our digital reach through innovative partner solutions and measurable business impact.This role can be located in Stamford CT, St. Louis MO or Greenwood Village CO.This posting has been extended in CO beyond its anticipated closing date of 5/22.How You'll Make an ImpactLead and mentor reseller partners to launch and manage Sales and Marketing portals utilizing Spectrum's Syndicated APIsServe as the primary liaison for partners, supporting onboarding, implementation, launch readiness and ongoing operationsDefine and execute the partner API enablement roadmap in collaboration with Product and Engineering teamsCoordinate efforts across Product, Technology, Sales, Marketing and Operations to facilitate seamless partner launchesEnsure APIs are secure, versioned, monitored, well‑documented and supported for partner adoptionTranslate technical API concepts into actionable guidance for both technical and non‑technical audiencesEnhance partner and developer experience through clear documentation, onboarding materials and robust support resourcesWorking ConditionsOffice environmentOccasional travel as neededEligible for Hybrid Work Policy: work from home up to one day per weekWhat You'll Bring to SpectrumRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience10+ years of progressive experience in technical program delivery, partner enablement, API platforms or digital delivery9+ years of partner enablement and relationship management9+ years of API platform strategy and external integration support5+ years of cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder alignment5+ years of launch planning, operational readiness and issue resolution5+ years of executive‑level communication and partner engagement5+ years of documentation, process improvement and operating model design5+ years of data‑driven decision making using dashboards and KPIs5+ years translating technical requirements into business context3+ years of leadership experience supporting API products, partner integrations or external platform enablementExperience with external partners or resellers on digital or technical integrationsExperience leading cross‑functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and OperationsExperience managing launch readiness, implementation coordination and post‑launch supportSkillsStrong understanding of API concepts including REST APIs, authentication, payloads, versioning and error handlingFamiliarity with API lifecycle management (design standards, documentation, onboarding, change management, deprecation)Experience supporting developer experience through guides, FAQs and support workflowsUnderstanding of API performance, uptime, monitoring and incident managementFamiliarity with API gateways, access controls and security standardsWorking knowledge of cloud‑based platforms and modern digital architecturesExperience tracking API usage, adoption, launch status and operational health metricsPreferred QualificationsEducationMBA or advanced degreeExperienceExperience in telecom, cable, broadband, digital sales, or partner channel environmentsExperience enabling third‑party or reseller partners to build customer‑facing portals or sales experiencesFamiliarity with syndicated or white‑label digital experiencesExperience with API monetization or partner platform commercializationExperience partnering with Engineering on API roadmap prioritization and release planningStrong understanding of developer experience best practicesSkillsRelated industry experience – Cable, Telecommunications, Software/Online ServicesHere, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers.
