As the Director of Emergency Department, you will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and play a key leadership role in shaping clinical operations and patient care delivery. You'll work closely with nursing and physician leadership to ensure the Emergency Department operates efficiently while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you'll oversee resources, drive operational improvements, and lead initiatives focused on capacity management, patient throughput, reducing boarding hours, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Your scope will include oversight of the Emergency Department within a community, close to home hospital setting.

Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
