This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton''s sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Director, Emerging Commercial Capabilities you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton''s "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton''s ability to achieve profitable growth. You will report to the Vice President, Pricing and Inventory and lead strategy and opportunity assessment to define commercial capabilities necessary to advance emerging growth brands, regions, and partnerships.

What you''ll do during a typical day:

  • Recommend and develop solutions for prioritized commercial capabilities and enabling technologies (including Pricing and Inventory) within a matrixed structure, translating needs into scalable recommendations and requirements.
  • Partner with Activation, Revenue Management, Brand, Sales, Commercial Performance, Product, and Technology teams to evaluate capabilities across growth categories.
  • Seek alignment across regions (AMER, EMEA, APAC) through collaboration with in-region teams and global partners to ensure solutions are scalable and aligned to enterprise needs.
  • Provide frequent verbal and written updates to senior leadership on strategic plans, risk and opportunity assessments, and performance evaluation of initiatives, including project status and recommendations
  • Assess and structure requests into actionable initiatives by defining scope, requirements, dependencies, and recommended next steps.
  • Support evaluation of new commercial technologies, software platforms, and external partners to address capability gaps and evolving needs.
  • Coordinate vendor research, market scans, competitor benchmarking, demos, and pilot evaluations to inform recommendations and roadmap priorities.
  • Support vendor management and negotiations in partnership with internal stakeholders to help ensure solutions meet needs and can scale.

How you''ll collaborate with others:

  • Work with teams including Brand, Commercial, Regional Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, among others, to understand the commercial need and requirements, and manage relative priorities.

Deliverables you''ll take ownership of:

  • Build and manage a prioritized roadmap to close critical capability gaps for growth areas of the business, balancing the enterprise needs across the teams above.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, Product, and/or Commercial Strategy
  • Experience leading and collaborating in a cross-functional matrixed environment
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Travel up to 20%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Experience in group Revenue Management (hospitality or airline industries) or in other hospitality, travel, or adjacent service industries with complex commercial environments
  • Experience with Marketing, Loyalty, Sales, and/or Third Party Distribution
  • Experience evaluating vendors and participating in software selection processes
  • Experience building business cases and presenting recommendations to senior leadership
  • Product management experience or experience in commercial enablement, business transformation, or technology integration
