Overview:

QXO, Inc. (NYSE: QXO) is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and related products, and the second largest publicly traded distributor of lumber and building materials in North America. QXO is the fastest growing company in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and plans to become the tech-enabled leader by delivering best-in-class customer satisfaction and outsized returns for its shareholders. The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.

What you will do::
• Own the enterprise integration architecture strategy that supports QXO’s acquisition-driven growth, Oracle Fusion platform, legacy systems, and operational business platforms
• Lead integration architecture diligence for acquisitions, including current-state assessment, risk identification, target-state options, and pragmatic Day 1 / Day 100 integration strategies
• Define and govern enterprise integration standards, patterns, and decision frameworks across APIs, event-driven architecture, middleware, file-based integrations, data flows, and ERP-centric integration
• Establish a repeatable integration architecture playbook to accelerate onboarding of acquired companies while reducing rework, inconsistency, and technical debt
• Partner with Engineering, Applications, Data & Analytics, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to align integration strategy, sequencing, and ownership
• Guide architecture decisions across Oracle Fusion, legacy ERPs, operational systems, analytics platforms, customer/supplier ecosystems, and acquired company landscapes
• Translate business integration objectives into clear architectural decisions, implementation guardrails, and executive-ready recommendations
• Identify architectural risks early and define mitigation plans that reduce operational disruption during integrations, platform transitions, and acquisition onboarding
• Balance speed, pragmatism, cost, and long-term architectural coherence in a fast-moving, acquisition-driven environment
• Influence senior stakeholders and delivery teams without direct authority, creating alignment across competing priorities
• Provide clear recommendations and say “no” when required, with credibility grounded in business impact, operational risk, integration complexity, cost, and delivery feasibility
• Mentor architects, engineers, and delivery teams on integration architecture principles, standards, and reusable patterns
What you will bring::

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Specialized Knowledge

• Enterprise integration architecture across APIs, event-driven patterns, middleware, messaging, file-based integration, data integration, and orchestration
• ERP-centric integration patterns, especially involving Oracle Fusion, legacy ERP platforms, financials, supply chain, order management, procurement, and operational systems
• M&A technology diligence, Day 1 integration planning, post-close harmonization, and integration sequencing across acquired businesses
• Integration governance models, pattern catalogs, reference architectures, architecture decision records, and exception management
• System-of-record design, master data flows, transaction integrity, reconciliation, latency, failure handling, and operational resilience
• Cloud and hybrid integration patterns across enterprise platforms, data platforms, and third-party ecosystems

Skills

• Strong enterprise architecture judgment with the ability to translate complex business and technical environments into practical integration decisions
• Ability to define integration standards and operating models that improve consistency without slowing delivery
• Strong executive communication, with the ability to explain integration risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations in clear business language
• Ability to influence Engineering, Applications, Data, Security, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders without direct authority
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in ambiguous, high-pressure environments
• Ability to distinguish between tactical integration needs, strategic architecture decisions, and avoidable technical debt

Abilities

• Operate independently with senior-level judgment and minimal oversight
• Lead through ambiguity across multiple acquisitions, platforms, vendors, and delivery teams
• Make sound tradeoffs between speed, cost, complexity, operational risk, and long-term sustainability
• Challenge assumptions constructively and create alignment across senior stakeholders
• Build repeatable architecture practices, not just solve one-off integration problems

Other characteristics

• Comfortable challenging assumptions and decisions constructively
• Trusted partner to engineering and delivery teams

Professional certifications

• Cloud or integration-related certifications preferred but not required

Experience

• 12+ years in integration architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or related technology leadership roles
• 5+ years defining or governing integration architecture across large, complex enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience owning integration strategy and delivery across ERP, operational systems, data platforms, and third-party ecosystems
• Experience supporting acquisitions, system harmonization, carve-ins, carve-outs, or multi-entity integration strongly preferred
• Proven ability to define standards, guide architecture decisions, and influence delivery teams without direct authority
• Experience leading or mentoring architects, engineers, or cross-functional delivery teams preferred
• Oracle Fusion, ERP modernization, or large-scale enterprise platform transformation experience strongly preferred
What you will earn::
  • Base pay range: $140,400 - $210,600
  • Annual performance bonus
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
