The candidate will administer all EHS programs and ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local legislation and EHS safety codesAsses risk potential across the organization and ensure proper signage, guarding and protection measures are in placeDevelop internal policies and proceduresInvolved with all regulatory agencies and internal staff regarding inspections, audits, incident reports, responses, and corrective actions (e.g., OSHA, EPA, USDA, DOT, INS, CDC, etc.)Assist with the Process Safety Management program, including a three year auditEstablish protocols, oversee & conduct accident investigation as well as reoccurring prevention programs & proceduresManage & track all safety violations and maintain necessary recordsParticipate and direct Safety CommitteesDesign safety & compliance training for all employeesMonitor all current information on regulations and requirementsDirect industrial hygiene, occupational, and general safety programsWork with insurance broker for annual audits conducted by the underwriterWork with the HR team on auditsWork with vendors for annual inspectionsResponding and assisting in all emergency situationsKeep up to date safety methods and proceduresRequirementsBS degree (Engineering, Environmental Science, or Health & Safety)7+ years related experience8+ years management experienceA Certified Safety Professional is preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
