Program SupervisorThe Program Supervisor will be responsible for supervision and training of staff in the Ezra/Special Needs Life Skills Program that are providing clinical mental health treatment and case management services.Qualifications:Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or MFT preferredLicensed for minimum of 2 years (LCSW/LMFT) in the State of California by the Board of Behavioral SciencesCurrent unrestricted CA Driver's License and proof of auto insuranceMinimum of 3 years of successful clinical, supervisory, and administrative experienceQualified to supervise Trainees and Associates in California per BBS requirementsMental health treatment experience in community-based agency preferredKnowledge of community resources and government benefits a plusKnowledge of resources and services for people with developmental disabilities a plusSolid training skills; ability to design trainings in various treatment modalities or related topics and impart information to staff both in one-on-one and group settingsCulturally sensitive and able to work with Jewish community members of all backgroundsExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently, set priorities and complete projects within specified timeframesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR)Experienced and knowledgeable in service provision via TelehealthCreativity, flexibility and the ability to provide leadership and encourage professional growthStrong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlinesManagement skills necessary to attract and maintain a highly effective and motivated staffAbility to work as part of a team and maintain professional boundariesAbility to work in a non-judgmental manner and foster positive growth/outcomesMust pass a criminal background check (Live Scan fingerprinting) prior to beginning employmentResponsibilities/Essential Functions:Support development and implementation of goals and objectives for the clinical case management and mental health components of the Ezra and the Special Needs Life Skills programsManage, supervise and train staff members providing clinical case management, mental health, and life skills activities/programmingMonitor performance of staff and provide ongoing training and corrective feedbackProvide consultation, group supervision, and weekly individual clinical supervisionMaintain consistent case assignments to ensure full capacity of team as per caseload requirementsOversee staff in developing and facilitating support groupsFacilitate staff training on EHR, agency policies, initiatives and proceduresProvide outreach presentations and liaison with community organizations and synagoguesMaintain working knowledge of agency-wide and community-based resources; expand access to service wherever indicated; maintain and update community resource informationMaintain collaborative referral process for internal clients within other JFS programsSupervision and training of paraprofessional volunteers as neededAs needed, function as Field Work Supervisor and/or preceptor for Social Work/MFT studentsOther related responsibilities as neededJewish Family Service is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, age, disability or status as a veteran.This position reports to the Co-Senior Directors of Community Mental Health and Case Management
