Job Description

Consumer services company located in the South Bay is looking for a Director of Financial Risk on a hybrid basis. The Director of Financial Risk will conduct operational assessments to minimize fraud and theft within the organization. Responsibilities of the Director of Financial Risk include analyzing cash management duties to identify potential theft, performing business analytics on cash collection process, and estimate daily/weekly/monthly cash levels. The Director of Financial Risk will also work closely with all facets of cash management operations, investigate operating protocol and personnel, collaborate with auditors and 3rd party companies, make cash collection process improvement recommendations, document procedures, controls, and risk management processes, as well as review inventory controls.

  • Bachelor's degree is extremely preferred.
  • At least 6 years of corporate loss prevention, cash collection, operational audit, or related experience.
  • Large company experience and solid career tenure are important.
  • Analytical, investigative, and operational mindset is critical!
  • Ability to analyze large, complex financial models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are also required.
  • Able to work effectively in an autonomous capacity.
  • Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willing to travel 30+%.
  • $115 - 135k + bonus.
