PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Direct and manage the district's transportation and vehicle maintenance program. Oversee maintenance of all district-owned vehicles. Ensure safe and efficient operation of transportation department.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to direct and manage operations of a large fleet of vehicles

Knowledge of fuel management and vehicle repair and maintenance

Ability to manage budget and personnel

Ability to coordinate district transportation functions

Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong computer and technology application skills

Experience:

Three years of supervisory experience preferably in a public, school transportation operation setting.

Strong knowledge of School District Operations

Start Date: 2026 - 2027 School Year

Work Calendar: 226 days

Salary: Contingent on Experience
