About the Opportunity

INSPYR Solutions is partnering with a leading organization in the hospitality industry to identify a Director of Accounting for a permanent opportunity. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, and driving process improvements within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering development and performance
  • Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
  • Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, reporting, and business initiatives
  • Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in collaboration with finance teams
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
