Position Summary

The Director, Global Data Center Sales Operations, Boyd Thermal is the strategic business partner responsible for the processes, technology, systems, data, governance, reporting, and cross-functional coordination that enable the Boyd Thermal commercial organization to sell effectively. The role reduces administrative burden on sales teams, strengthens commercial execution, and provides accurate, timely visibility into business performance and future demand. As the Boyd Thermal Sales Operations leader within Eaton's evolving Global Data Center commercial organization, the Director also enables strategic account execution, pipeline and forecast visibility, account performance management, SIOP and capacity planning inputs, and alignment of Boyd Thermal commercial operations with Eaton's broader Global Data Center operating model.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce, Systems and Data Governance

• Own the Boyd Thermal Salesforce operating model, including short-term configuration, administration, user management, training, documentation, testing, user acceptance testing, and launch coordination while long-term ownership transitions to IT and Sales Enablement.
• Lead new-business-win and pipeline analysis in direct partnership with the sales organization.
• Own master-data administration for ES/EC codes, coordinate data corrections with Sales and Controllers, and administer revenue-realization data alignment.
• Lead Data Hub and Greensheet forecasting integration in the short term and define an effective long-term split between Sales Operations and Commercial Finance.
• Partner with Electrical Sector resources to create a technology stack that makes commercial data accessible, accurate, integrated, and useful for execution.

2. Commercial Process Ownership and Enablement

• Own the end-to-end commercial process at the strategic level and drive consistent execution across the organization.
• Administer quarterly business reviews and produce data outputs and actions for the top 30 customers.
• Lead commercial-team training, onboarding, and offboarding during the transition, with long-term migration to Sales Enablement and/or HR.
• Administer the Voice of Customer program and annual data readouts in the short term; retain strategic VOC activity only when it informs business strategy.

4. Incentives, Compensation and Financial Coordination

• Administer North America and Europe sales incentive plans during the transition, with long-term administration moving to the HR Sales Incentive team.
• Own sales coverage maps and the alignment of people, territories, customers, plans, and goals in partnership with the sales reporting team.
• Set sales targets; support the transition of incentive-plan design and administration to HR.
• Own external sales representative commissions, payment approvals, and contract management.
• Own master-data corrections that affect financial reporting, customer ownership, commercial focus, and incentive alignment.

5. Customer Experience and Commercial Support

• Customer Solutions Management, compliance-document processing, order entry, customer onboarding, and sales training and enablement.
• Partner with the ES-A OPEX team or other designated resources on process optimization.

7. Compliance, Documentation and Governance

• Ensure customer-facing and commercial documentation meets regulatory and internal standards.
• Own customer- and operations-facing ITAR compliance in the near term and retain ITAR pricing governance.
• Provide continuity while compliance document processing, QMS-related commercial documentation, tariff documentation, and commercial contract workflows transition to designated support teams.
• Escalate site issues or non-compliance to the appropriate site owner.

8. Program Management and Strategic Initiatives

• Lead cross-functional coordination across Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and HR.
• Manage change and stakeholder alignment related to support-model transitions, including access, organizational change management, leadership approval, cost considerations, and coordination between Chennai, Pune, and QRO resources.

9. Global Data Center Commercial Operations

• Lead the Sales Operations strategy for Boyd Thermal and Eaton’s Global Data Center commercial organization.
• Support Global Account Leaders and thermal commercial teams with pipeline management, account KPIs, forecasting, SIOP inputs, capacity visibility, and executive performance reporting.
• Drive harmonization of Boyd Thermal data, systems, processes, and governance with Eaton’s enterprise Global Data Center account model while preserving business continuity during integration.
• Improve visibility into customer demand, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, capacity constraints, and commercial risks across strategic Data Center accounts.

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, operations, information systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing, sales operations, commercial operations or related field

Preferred:

• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce governance and administration, master data, forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and commercial process design.
• Experience coordinating sales incentives, territories, targets, representative commissions, and financial alignment across business functions.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and reporting tools, including Power BI or comparable platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs, organizational transitions, process improvement, and change management.
