What you''ll achieve:
This role serves as the global owner of Defense & Intelligence (D&I) security programs, accountable for the strategy, portfolio management, and execution of classified and sensitive security initiatives across the United States and key allied countries. The Director will operate as a senior security and program leader, ensuring programs are scalable, compliant, well governed, and aligned to business priorities. Success in this role requires strong program and portfolio management discipline, exceptional organizational capability, and the ability to develop and deliver executive-level materials and briefings to senior leaders, internal governance forums, and government stakeholders.
You will:
Own and lead the global Defense & Intelligence security program portfolio, including prioritization, roadmap development, execution oversight, and continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain program governance, operating rhythms, metrics, and reporting to ensure effective oversight of compliance, risk, cost, and delivery milestones.
Drive organizational rigor across classified and sensitive programs through standardized processes, documentation, audit readiness, and clear accountability models.
Develop and deliver executive-level briefings, dashboards, talking points, and decision materials for senior leadership and governance bodies.
Translate complex security, regulatory, and operational topics into clear recommendations and actionable options for executive audiences.
Lead a dual-pillar global security organization, including:
A U.S. pillar focused on NISP, ICD, and DFARS requirements.
An international pillar focused on NATO, FVEY, and foreign government security engagement.
Oversee classified operations, secure facility governance (SCIF/SAPF and international equivalents), and classified contract compliance across multiple countries.
Act as a senior partner to DCSA, Intelligence Community elements, and international government security authorities.
Build, develop, and mentor high-performing, geographically distributed teams, including team leads and senior security managers.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and cross-program impacts and escalate issues with well-structured executive recommendations

Essential Requirements
12+ years of experience in industrial security, defense, or intelligence community security operations, including leadership of complex, multi-program environments.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. CI polygraph preferred.
Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading and governing large-scale security programs or portfolios within a complex, global organization.
Deep expertise in U.S. and international security frameworks, including:
o NISPOM, ICDs, DFARS
o NATO and Five Eyes industrial security programs and cross-border information protection requirements
Hands-on experience supporting or managing security programs across the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Australia, and New Zealand.
Proven experience overseeing classified facilities, personnel security, and contract compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong working knowledge of export controls (ITAR/EAR) and international technology transfer requirements.
Ability to clearly communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including at the executive level.
Demonstrated business, financial, and organizational skills, including planning, prioritization, and reporting.
Desirable Requirements
Experience supporting NATO security programs, multinational contracts, and international classified facilities.
Prior engagement with UK MoD, Canadian DND, Australian DoD, or New Zealand Defense Force security programs.
Certifications such as ISP, CPP, CISSP, SFPC, SAPPC, or ISOC and Formal training or experience in program management, portfolio governance, or operational excellence frameworks.
