As an IT Director- Global Manufacturing,you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative peoplearoundthe world. Here, you will make an impact by: 

•  Lead the Design,Developmentandsupportfor all ManufacturingITApplicationsglobally includingERP, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Product LifecycleManagement,MES, Inventory, Subcontracting, Engineering & OTconvergence. 
• Articulate a vision and roadmap for Manufacturing Applications aligned to business strategy 
• Drive change through tactical leadership of people, systems &process 
• Support asset divestitures, spin offs, closures,movesand acquisitions 
• Lead business relationship in the assemblanceofscope, cost,priorityandstrategicplan 
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of IT professionals, Thrive in a truly global environmentwith distributed geography, language,culture  

Your Skills and Expertise  
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3Mrequires(at a minimum) the following qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher. (completed and verified prior to start) 
• Ten (10)yearscore IT experience leading development, support ofbusiness requirements in a public, private, government, or military environment. 
• Five (5)yearssystems experiencewithIT, OT, EHSorbusinessprocess  
• Ten (10) yearsERP & MES development & deployment experiencein a Manufacturing space in a public, private, government, or military environment. ​ 

Additionalqualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

• Strong financial acumen 
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and edge computing in a factory environment. 
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both plant-floor operators and executive C-suite stakeholders. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization 
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights. 
• Strong leadership skills to drive cultural and technological adoption during digital transformations. 
• A proactive approach to troubleshooting high-stakes production downtime events. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors. 

Work location:  

• Maplewood, MN
• This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN. 

Travel: May include up to10%
