Job Summary:
Nova Biomedical is seeking a Global Head of Marketing, Clinical Business to define and execute the global marketing, brand, and demand strategy for the Clinical Business. This leadership position will oversee segment marketing, product marketing, and selected regional marketing resources, with shared-service leadership across Marketing Communications, Digital Strategy, Events, and Marketing Technology.
The Global Head of Marketing will translate the Clinical Business strategy into revenue-aligned demand creation, portfolio clarity, and a differentiated market position across clinical diagnostics and point-of-care workflows. A core mandate of this role is to establish and steward a distinct Clinical Business brand identity while building a metric-driven demand generation engine tied directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
This leader will partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Clinical and Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, Information Technology, and Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and commercial impact. The role operates within a matrixed global model in which the business owns strategy, segmentation, demand outcomes, and brand direction, while shared-service teams provide scaled execution support
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the global Clinical Business marketing, brand, and demand strategy in alignment with the annual operating plan and revenue targets.
- Establish a clear and differentiated Clinical Business brand identity, including positioning, messaging architecture, and competitive differentiation.
- Translate business priorities, including test menu expansion, instrument adoption, utilization growth, and geographic expansion, into integrated marketing plans.
- Serve as a key member of the Clinical Business leadership team, providing insights into market dynamics, customer needs, competitive activity, and growth opportunities.
- Own a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with pipeline, conversion, and revenue targets.
- Build a metric-driven demand generation engine across digital channels, events, content, account-based marketing, and regional programs.
- Establish and enforce marketing performance standards focused on pipeline creation and coverage, conversion rates, funnel velocity, and marketing-sourced and influenced revenue.
- Maintain investment and return-on-investment discipline, reallocating marketing resources and spending based on performance.
- Partner closely with Sales and Sales Operations on territories, coverage models, funnel management, pipeline development, and revenue priorities.
- Define and own customer segmentation and buying personas across clinical settings, including hospitals, laboratories, and decentralized care environments.
- Develop segment-specific value propositions and messaging frameworks.
- Ensure customer segmentation translates into effective targeting, account planning, campaign development, and field execution.
- Own global product positioning, messaging, and the overall Clinical Business portfolio narrative.
- Lead new product introductions, including launch strategy, messaging, commercialization planning, and sales enablement.
- Partner with Product Management to align product roadmaps, pricing strategies, value propositions, and market positioning.
- Establish clear product and portfolio differentiation within the competitive clinical diagnostics market.
- Oversee digital marketing strategies, channels, and platforms, including marketing automation, CRM, analytics, SEO, SEM, web, social media, and email programs.
- Lead the development of clinical data, case studies, educational resources, and other content that supports customer engagement and commercial growth.
- Promote a digital-first, data-driven approach to customer engagement and campaign execution.
- Advance personalization, lifecycle marketing, account-based marketing, retention strategies, and optimized customer journeys.
- Lead regional marketing teams in localizing global strategies and demand generation programs.
- Balance global brand consistency with regional regulatory, reimbursement, clinical practice, and market requirements.
- Establish accountability for measurable regional contributions to pipeline development and revenue.
- Set priorities, expectations, and performance measures for shared-service teams supporting Clinical Marketing.
- Ensure campaigns, content, digital programs, and events are integrated into the overall demand strategy and measured for commercial impact.
- Drive adoption of modern marketing tools, automation, analytics, and digital capabilities.
- Champion a customer-centric, experience-led marketing approach across the Clinical Business.
- Build and scale marketing teams, processes, operating models, and capabilities that support sustainable growth.
- Monitor and report performance against key measures, including pipeline creation and coverage, conversion rates, funnel velocity, marketing ROI, revenue contribution, product launch performance, time to revenue, installed-base growth, instrument utilization, brand clarity, and customer engagement.
- Lead global and regional Clinical Marketing resources within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Provide strategic direction to shared-service partners across Marketing Communications, Digital and MarTech, and Events and Conferences.
- Foster strong prioritization, accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the global marketing organization.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Senior marketing leadership experience within clinical diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences, healthcare business-to-business markets, or a related industry.
- Proven success building revenue-aligned, metric-driven demand generation engines.
- Deep expertise in product marketing, segment marketing, brand strategy, and digital marketing.
- Experience developing global marketing strategies aligned with business plans and revenue targets.
- Experience establishing differentiated brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and competitive strategies.
- Demonstrated success leading new product introductions, commercialization strategies, and sales enablement.
- Experience developing customer segmentation, buying personas, value propositions, and targeted marketing programs.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing capabilities, including marketing automation, CRM, analytics, SEO, SEM, web, social media, email, and content strategy.
- Experience with account-based marketing, personalization, lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, and customer journey optimization.
- Proven ability to develop and manage performance measures tied to pipeline, conversion, revenue contribution, and marketing ROI.
- Experience using data and financial analysis to prioritize investments and reallocate resources based on performance.
- Experience leading global and regional teams within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong commercial partnership experience with Sales, Product Management, Sales Operations, Clinical or Medical Affairs, Information Technology, and Corporate Marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders across regions, functions, and reporting relationships.
- Executive presence with strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Targeted Salary Range: $170,000 to $215,000 a year
