Director Government Property & Shipping

This essential leadership role in the Supply Chain division involves strategic management of government assets and logistics functions. You will spearhead initiatives to optimize and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly concerning government property management (encompassing both equipment and material) and shipping/receiving processes. Key responsibilities include shaping and implementing long-term strategies, enhancing operational efficiency with advanced technologies, and ensuring strict adherence to regulations such as DFARS and FAR. You will be the primary contact for audits, driving continuous improvements in shipping operations, and building strategic partnerships with key government and industry stakeholders. Your leadership will foster a culture of compliance, security, and efficiency, aligning with organizational objectives and advancing procurement and property management processes. Additionally, you will oversee comprehensive training programs and ensure the precise handling of sensitive shipments.
