As the Director Gross to Net, you will lead the planning, forecasting, and analysis of approximately $10 billion in Gross-to-Net performance, partnering closely with senior leaders across Market Access, Public Policy, Commercial, and Finance. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, shape financial outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across one of the most complex and impactful areas of the business.

About the Role

Key responsibilities: Lead Gross-to-Net planning, forecasting, and analysis for a highly complex portfolio valued at approximately $10 billion Serve as the subject matter expert on Gross-to-Net performance, market dynamics, and financial planning assumptions Partner with Market Access, Public Policy, Commercial, and Finance teams to deliver accurate and timely forecasts Provide strategic insights through monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance trends Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing financial processes, standardizing methodologies, and leveraging automation tools Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making and enterprise objectives Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a results-driven culture Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.8+ years of finance experience, including significant experience within the pharmaceutical industry.Deep expertise in Gross-to-Net forecasting, financial planning, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex cross-functional stakeholder environments.Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools. Desirable Requirements Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. Experience with Gross-to-Net systems and advanced analytics tools such as Model N, Qlik, Power BI, Business Planning and Consolidation, and dashboard automation solutions. Benefits & Rewards The salary for this position is expected to range between 160,300.00 - 297,700.00 USD Annual per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
