Position Summary
The Director, Health Equity reports directly to the SVP, Pediatric Health Equity Strategies and Chief Health Equity Officer (CHEO) and serves as a strategic and operational partner in advancing enterprise-wide health equity, inclusion, and research initiatives. In collaboration with the SVP/CHEO, this role supports the development, implementation, and oversight of programs, initiatives, and research efforts, including associated budgets.
The Director is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the Office of Health Equity & Inclusion, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts across clinical, academic, and administrative leaders, and ensuring alignment of health equity strategies across departments and divisions. The role also supports fostering an inclusive organizational culture and advancing equitable care for diverse patient populations and their families. Regular communication with the SVP/CHEO is required to report on progress, risks, and outcomes.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
