Director, Health Sciences
The Director of Health Sciences provides strategic and operational leadership for Rogue Community Colleges Health Sciences division, which includes Nursing, Allied Health, and Emergency Services programs. The Director fosters excellence in teaching and learning, student success, and program quality. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, healthcare and emergency services partners, and college leadership, the Director oversees academic programs, accreditation and regulatory compliance, personnel, and program operations while promoting continuous improvement to ensure programs remain responsive to evolving community and regional workforce needs.
Reporting to the Dean of Healthcare and Education, the Director serves as a key partner in advancing RCCs commitment to student success, workforce development, and community engagement. This role provides leadership in academic affairs, personnel management, accreditation oversight, strategic planning, and external partnerships that support high-quality education and training across the Health Sciences division and meet the healthcare and public safety workforce needs of the region.

Additional Posting Information
This is a full-time Exempt/Managerial (100%, 246 days/year) position in the Nursing, Allied Health, and Emergency Services department. Starting compensation will be based on Grade L of the 2026-27 salary schedule, in accordance with initial placement per the current Management, Administrative, and Confidential Employee Handbook. Consideration will be given to related experience and educational achievement but generally not expected to exceed the midpoint of the range.
The position will remain open until filled, with screening scheduled to begin on September 8, 2026. Applications received after the screening date are not guaranteed review. Rogue Community College is considered a qualifying public employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, full-time employees working at the College may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.
