Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Experience: • Five or more years of successful teaching experience required • Three or more years of administrative leadership required • Direct experience in alternative education, special education, and/or juvenile justice settings highly desirable Education: • Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Administration from an accredited institution required • Doctorate strongly preferred License or Certificate • Valid California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist) • Valid Administrative Services Credential • Education Specialist Credential preferred
