Job Summary:
Ensures efficient and orderly administration of the operation of the business and clinical services of the radiology department, including, but not limited to, personnel administration, financial administration and controls, strategic planning, budgeting, product line development, facility and equipment maintenance, quality improvement initiatives and special studies and projects as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Allied Health, or Radiological related field. MBA preferred. Certified Radiology Administrator preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years of management experience in large hospital setting in Radiology.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: N/A
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of all Radiology Specialty and administrative procedures. Verbal and written communications skills. Management skills. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Business management skills including strategic planning skills. Budget/fiscal skills. Ability to train, motivate, and supervise employees.
