ROLE SUMMARY

The Director, Inline Breast Cancer Portfolio Strategy & Operations is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the global commercial strategy for Pfizer’s inline breast cancer portfolio.

This role will drive strategic integration across brands and pipeline, enabling high-impact portfolio execution, and ensuring alignment across global, U.S., and international markets. The Director will play a critical role in maximizing portfolio value by translating insights into action, leading cross-functional initiatives, and driving enterprise decision-making and most importantly leading strategically through the IBRANCE to atrimo bridge timeframe.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead development, evolution, and execution of the global inline breast cancer portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with broader oncology and enterprise priorities
  • Translate market insights, competitive intelligence, and performance data into clear strategic direction and actionable priorities
  • Partner closely with the Breast Cancer pipeline team to ensure seamless integration of pipeline assets into portfolio strategy and planning
  • Drive integrated pull-through of key global initiatives, including major congresses, symposia, and portfolio-wide programs
  • Own the portfolio operating plan, aligning stakeholders on priorities, milestones, and key performance indicators
  • Lead global launch operations for key growth opportunities, including HER2+ first-line indications, ensuring cross-functional coordination and readiness
  • Enable effective collaboration by leading key forums (GMT, GGT, ICO/US)  and driving alignment on strategy, priorities, and decisions across stakeholders
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination across functions, brands, and regions, ensuring consistent execution and messaging

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS required; Advanced degree preferred 

  • 8-10 years commercial pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy, new product launch, and business development in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology companies 

  • Significant experience in commercial strategy, portfolio management, or marketing within the biopharmaceutical industry

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and shape enterprise-level strategy

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data, insights, and commercial impact

  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment in matrixed organizations

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver clear and compelling executive-level narratives

  • Experience in product launches, strategy development, and commercial operations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  •   Oncology experience, particularly in breast cancer

  • Experience working across global and regional markets

  • Track record of driving portfolio strategy and cross-brand integration

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
