The Impact You Will Make:

 

The Director, Insurance Operations is responsible for leading Imagen's end-to-end insurance revenue cycle and driving operational excellence across claims submission, denial management, payment posting, insurance accounts receivable, and insurance cash performance.

Responsibilities:

What you will do:

 

  • Lead and oversee all centralized insurance operations, including claims management, denial resolution, payment posting, insurance accounts receivable, and related revenue cycle functions.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, financial performance, and service delivery across insurance operations.
  • Establish performance standards, productivity expectations, and key operational metrics to drive accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams by coaching managers, fostering a culture of accountability, and supporting organizational growth.
  • Drive denial prevention, claims optimization, and insurance AR reduction initiatives through data analysis, root cause identification, and process improvement.
  • Lead the adoption of automation, AI-enabled technologies, and workflow enhancements to improve operational effectiveness, reduce manual effort, and accelerate cash flow.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Cycle, Payer Strategy, Finance, Operations, IT, and Practice Leadership to align insurance operations with organizational objectives and financial goals.
  • Champion change management and process standardization initiatives to improve consistency, technology adoption, operational performance, and long-term scalability.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in dental revenue cycle operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership of claims management, payment posting, denial management, and insurance AR functions.
  • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare organizations, preferably within a DSO environment.
  • Experience managing high-volume operational teams with productivity and quality accountability.
  • Experience implementing automation, workflow optimization, or AI-enabled operational improvements.
  • Experience driving process standardization across geographically dispersed organizations.
  • Demonstrated success improving clean claim rates, reducing denials, accelerating cash flow, and improving operational performance.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or related
