The IT Director- Manufacturing and Supply Chain Technology is a senior technology leader within the Business Technology Management group responsible for the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems that enable manufacturing, supply chain, and operations. This role requires deep experience in the manufacturing and supply chain verticals, with expertise in SAP ECC–based ERP environments and tightly integrated operational technologies.

Serve as the strategic bridge between Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Corporate Development, and IT—ensuring that core platforms such as SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, SIOP planning solutions, MES, TMS, and WMS ecosystems are optimized to drive reliability, cost efficiency, service levels, and scalability.

Technology Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute the multi-year technology roadmap for manufacturing and supply chain systems aligned to business growth objectives.

  • Own the strategy and lifecycle management of SAP ECC across production planning (PP), materials management (MM), sales & distribution (SD), quality management (QM), plant maintenance (PM), and OTC integrations

  • Ensure alignment between ERP, procurement, planning, and shop-floor systems to enable end-to-end process visibility.

  • Evaluate and modernize SIOP planning capabilities to improve forecast accuracy, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.

Manufacturing Systems Leadership

  • Lead strategy and governance for MES platforms, ensuring tight integration between shop-floor control systems and SAP ECC.

  • Drive digitization initiatives across production, quality, maintenance, and traceability.

  • Oversee WMS and TMS platforms to ensure seamless warehouse execution, logistics optimization, and transportation visibility.

  • Improve plant-level KPIs through system enablement and data integrity.

SAP & Supply Chain Optimization

  • Oversee end-to-end integration between SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, SIOP planning tools, and TMS

  • Ensure procurement workflows, supplier collaboration, and spend management are optimized within Ariba.

  • Drive master data governance across materials, BOMs, routings, vendors, customers, and logistics networks.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance reporting.

 Operational Excellence & Reliability

  • Working within our established IT Operating Model, establish strong IT-business governance with manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement leadership.

  • Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance across mission-critical operational platforms.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives

  • Implement strong change management practices to ensure adoption across plant and warehouse environments.

Team & Vendor Leadership

  • Build and lead high-performing ERP, Manufacturing, OTC, Product Lifecycle Management and supply chain technology teams (internal and external).

  • Manage system integrators, managed services providers, and software vendors.

  • Establish clear SLAs and performance metrics for operational support and project delivery.

  • Develop internal capability in SAP ECC manufacturing and supply chain modules.
