University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary
Temporary, MP Staff, Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2027 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $6,250.00-$7,083.00 per month.
Location: ITLS CSUSB Campus.
Work Schedule
Exempt 40+ hours per week. Typically, Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM. Some nights and weekends may be required.

Under minimal supervision of the Faculty Supervisor, the Director will work independently to:

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
B.A. in Child Development or related field.
Experience:
At least 2 years of successful leadership and management experience with in the early childhood field is required.
Possess a Child Development Permit: Site Supervisor or higher or meet the qualifications to obtain upon hiring.
Meet all necessary training requirements for Community Care Licensing within 30 days of hire.
Knowledge of NAEYC best practices, accreditation standards, child abuse reporting, universal precautions, tools for child observation and assessment required.
Other:
The incumbent must be knowledgeable in program administration (including fiscal management), budgeting, staff supervision and personnel policies, grant administration, contracts, and laws as they pertain to licensed childcare centers under Title 22.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles, infant/toddler development, and developmentally appropriate practices.
Applicants must possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and problem-solving skills and have a friendly, helpful, professional attitude, be reliable, dependable, punctual, and responsible.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Reader and use of internet search engines.
Ability to lead, supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff, interns, and practicum students.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, faculty, and community partners.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulations consistently and effectively.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities and program operations.
Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.
Ability to support the instructional and observational functions of a laboratory school environment.
