Position Summary:

Reports to the VP for Revenue Cycle and has 24 hour responsibility for the access function within UTMC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• All centralized patient scheduling functions • All patient registration functions • All pre-admission patient documentation and tracking • Appropriateness of all insurance verification and pre-certification procedures • Appropriateness of orders and source of services • All financial counseling and cashier functions

Position Qualification:

Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
