    Description

    Healthcare United is seeking a Board Certified Physician for a Director / Lead Physician role supporting multiple locations across the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati regions. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical care with leadership responsibilities in a value-based care model focused on medically complex and underserved populations.

    • Provide primary care to a panel of high-acuity patients
    • Lead and mentor physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
    • Partner with leadership to drive clinical strategy and improve outcomes
    • Oversee care coordination across outpatient and transitional care settings
    • Manage complex chronic conditions, substance use, and behavioral health needs
    • Support quality improvement and population health initiatives
    • Participate in leadership and operational meetings



    Requirements

    • Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
    • Open to Infectious Disease or Addiction Medicine with recent primary care experience
    • Active or eligible for Ohio medical license
    • Several years of clinical experience with leadership or mentorship background
    • Experience working with complex or underserved populations preferred
    • Comfortable managing high-acuity patients
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
