Description
Healthcare United is seeking a Lead Primary Care Physician to join an established healthcare organization in Dayton, Ohio. This is a full-time outpatient primary care opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
This role is ideal for a Primary Care Physician who enjoys direct patient care, clinical leadership, and working within a team-based care model. The Lead PCP will provide care for an assigned patient panel while helping support clinical staff, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Job Description
Full-time Lead Primary Care Physician opening in Dayton, Ohio
Monday through Friday schedule
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Outpatient primary care setting
Provide primary care for an assigned patient panel
Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Support preventive care, wellness visits, and follow-up care
Work closely with nursing, APPs, care management, pharmacy, behavioral health, and support staff
Help lead and support the clinical team
Mentor and collaborate with physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
Participate in care planning and population health initiatives
Support quality metrics, patient outcomes, and continuity of care
Provide same-day, next-day, and urgent visits as needed
Participate in rotating call coverage as required
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care-related specialty
Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain
Primary care experience required
Leadership experience preferred
Experience with complex patient populations preferred
Strong communication and team-based care skills
Interest in value-based care and population health
