Director/MD, Capital Formation (Real Estate Debt)

Firm Overview

A middle-market commercial real estate lender based in New York is looking to bring on a Director or MD of Capital Formation who will be responsible for raising assets from institutional investors. The firm has around $5B in AUM and manages a variety of private funds. This individual will cover North American relationships and will have the opportunity to acquire ownership of the process and eventually become the Head of Distribution.

Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for working through end-to-end processes, maintaining relationships with US-based investors, and raising capital from institutional investors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience capital raising from institutional investors

• Experience in real estate debt (also open to corporate credit or alternative fixed income)

• Deep relationships in North America

• Experience working through end-to-end processes

Compensation

• Expected annual base salary $200-300k

• Total compensation package variable (will be based on candidate's background and prior experience)
