Position is responsible for the overall management and growth of selected group purchasing organization. (GPO). Development of strategy, execution of strategies and tactics, customer headquarters relationships, and coordination of field activities in support of these relationships are all critical elements of the position. Position is responsible for national sales growth focused heavily on the Healthcare market in addition to other open sectors that our GPO serves.
Flexible Work Policy: The work for the Dir, National Sales & Service position is completely remote anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position will be covering the West and Central regions of the business (California and Texas), candidates must reside in either Central or Pacific Time Zones.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
National scope, Frequent overnight travel required.
SUPERVISION
None
RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Direct contact with senior level staff and sales associates throughout the organization
External: Executive level customers, prospects, and GPO staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: Bachelor degree in related field or comparable experience required.
Related Experience: Minimum 7 years foodservice sales experience required. 3 to 5 years of experience in the successful management and development of a team. Demonstrated positive customer interfacing experience also required. Prior national account/healthcare experience preferred. Experience dealing with large regional or national multi-location chains strongly desired.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills - relationship builder
Ability to leverage relationships to achieve business goals, strategic thinking skills, strong business acumen and business maturity required. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills, be well organized with strong follow through. Strong leadership and team building skills with proven results orientation also required.
This role will also receive annual incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
$105,000 - $160,000
