My client, a growing and dynamic national services organization in business for over 20 years, is seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance. This role is onsite in Nashville (West of Donelson) with flexible starting times. The salary goes up to $200,000 base + 20% bonus potential. Amazing benefits, PTO, and 401k match. Growth opportunity to CFO role. This is a permanent direct-hire role.

Overview of the Director of Accounting and Finance Role:

• 
  
• This role reports to the President and leads and oversees accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, collections, month-end close, and financial reporting
• 
  
• Managing both onsite and offshore accounting teams
• 
  
• Driving process improvements, internal controls, and departmental efficiencies
• 
  
• Ensuring the integrity and optimization of Sage Intacct
• 
  
• Working closely with external CPA firms, auditors, and business partners
• 
  
• Reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
• 
  
• Providing meaningful financial analysis, margin reporting, and operational insights
• 
  
• Supporting executive leadership with strategic and operational decision-making
• 
  

Qualifications for the Director of Accounting and Finance Role:

• 
  
• Strong Controller or Director-level accounting experience
• 
  
• Must have hands-on Sage (preferably Intacct) experience
• 
  
• Managed a team of at least 5 direct reports
• 
  
• Ability to work on-site in Nashville (west of Donelson)
•
