They are currently looking for a Director of Accounting who will oversees all financial accounting operations. This leader ensures regulatory compliance and drives financial reporting accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations
  • Internal Controls: Maintain robust internal controls and safeguard company assets
  • Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and develop the corporate accounting team
  • Process Improvement: Optimize accounting systems to scale financial operations

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in healthcare accounting operations
  • Leadership: 4+ years of experience in a people-management role
  • Public Accounting: Prior experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm
Preferred Skills:
  • Systems: Advanced proficiency with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite)
  • Regulations: Deep knowledge SOPs and audit readiness
  • Communication: Ability to present complex financial data to non-finance executives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
