In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee all accounting operations across a growing real estate portfolio, ensuring financial accuracy, strong internal controls, and compliance with GAAP and industry standards. What You'll Do
As the Director of Accounting, you will:
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee consolidated financial statements across multiple properties and entities.
Partner with Operations, Acquisitions, and Property Management teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
Drive process improvements and optimize accounting systems to support company growth and scalability.
Strengthen and monitor internal controls to protect company assets and maintain financial integrity.
Analyze portfolio performance through variance analysis and key performance indicators.
