Director of Advancement

Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) seeks full-time Director of Advancement.  The Director of Advancement is a senior leadership position responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive resource development and community engagement strategy that advances the mission of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC). The Director leads all philanthropic, fundraising, donor stewardship, corporate sponsorship, foundation relations, and advancement activities supporting CIFC’s Federally Qualified Health Center, Education and Housing initiatives and other mission-driven services. 

Working collaboratively with executive leadership, Board members, program leaders, and community partners, the Director of Advancement will cultivate diverse funding sources, strengthen community relationships, increase philanthropic support, and enhance CIFC's visibility throughout the communities it serves.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. 

Experience: three to five (3 - 5) or more years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, advancement, philanthropy, nonprofit management, or related field. Demonstrated success securing major gifts, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donor support. Experience developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies. Experience working within healthcare, community health centers, human services, education, early childhood programs, or nonprofit organizations preferred. Experience supporting Board development and volunteer engagement activities preferred.

Compensation details: 85000-110000 Yearly Salary
